A Recovery Pathway After COVID-19 Teacher Burnout

Burnout in the helping professions, including teaching, has been well documented for over fifty years and captured within two seminal models offered by Maslach her colleagues. For this study we interviewed 22 teachers bi-weekly to determine whether these their COVID-19 pandemic work experiences during 2020–2021 school year. Only one teacher, however, left on a medical leave then returned after burning out, therefore provided case of processes both teacher burnout recovery under conditions. The existing were upheld as salient understanding COVID-19, with specific emphasis job dimensions workload values incongruence. In particular, honesty safety Evidence-based suggestions are assist supporting not only return teaching but also full long-term from pandemic.
